This is a full-time, permanent, entry-level position, and NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIREDWatch this YouTube video to see what your future job will look like: YouTube VideoWhat You'll Do:This role combines the responsibilities of a Hostler Driver and Ground Person. You will learn to operate a jockey truck, maneuvering 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis around the rail yard.Engage in various ground duties, including climbing on and off railcars, securing tracks, and handling inner box connectors (IBC's).Assist crane operators with equipment loading and unloading using hand signals.Play a key role in stacking and unstacking chassis, as well as loading and unloading chassis racks.Fulfill other assigned duties in a dynamic and team-oriented work environment.Shift:5pm shift (Training on day shift)Yearly Average Pay:$45,000-$60,000 with overtime includedMandatory OvertimeBenefits: (Medical benefits start after 60 days and the first of the month after that)Affordable Healthcare, free Dental Coverage and Comprehensive Vision BenefitsFree Life InsurancePaid Holidays and Personal DaysBoot Reimbursement401KYearly RaisesVacation Pay (received on yearly anniversary)Weekly PayRequirements:Preferred, but not required: Experience working outdoors, long hours, and driving larger vehiclesA valid Driver's LicenseAbility to pass a drug test and an IPCS Physical Strength TestNo GED or diploma requiredStrong Communication Skills requiredAdditional requirements will be discussed during the interview processThis position is perfect for individuals with backgrounds in warehouse work, delivery driving, CDL or non-CDL driving, outdoor labor, landscaping, physical labor, heavy equipment operation, and railyard work.You will be employed by Pacific Rail Services and not by the Railroad.Join us and be a part of a dynamic and supportive team Apply now and start your journey with Pacific Rail Services 🚂 About Rail Management Services: One of America’s largest intermodal terminal operators, with more than 60 U.S. intermodal and auto handling facilities.
