In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to animals in a veterinary setting. You will assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating various conditions, ensuring the well-being of pets and other animals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of animal anatomy, handling techniques, and veterinary practices.Duties:Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.Perform routine laboratory tests and analyze results.Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.Monitor animal health and behavior before, during, and after procedures.Prepare animals for surgery, including anesthesia induction and catheterization.Conduct X-ray imaging and ensure proper handling of equipment.Provide pet grooming services as needed to maintain hygiene.Educate pet owners on proper animal care and health maintenance.Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.Ensure a clean and safe environment for both animals and staff.Experience:The ideal candidate should have:More than 3 years of experience in emergency and GP.Proficiency in animal handling techniques and knowledge of animal anatomy.Experience in Exotics is a plusGeneral Practice: Vaccines, client education, wellness visits - you've got it downEmergency & Critical Care: Triage, hospitalized patient care, advanced monitoring, urgent surgical assists - you shine under pressureTechnical Mastery: You can draw blood, place IVs, monitor anesthesia, run labs, assist in surgery.Team Player: You lift others up, communicate like a champ, and you're not afraid to ask for help (or coffee).And our Leadership?
