Surgical Oncologist opening - Charlotte, North Carolina Position Details

  • Join a well-established, comprehensive Integrated Network Cancer Program with NAPBC accreditation in the Charlotte region
  • Focus primarily on breast cancer, with additional responsibilities in melanoma, sarcoma, and general surgical oncology
  • Full-time schedule: 2 days in clinic + 2.5 days in OR
  • Participate in clinical research and teaching opportunities through an academic affiliation with UNC-Chapel Hill
  • Engage in a weekly multidisciplinary cancer conference supporting patient-centered care
  • Collaborate with institute and state-wide breast, melanoma, and hepatobiliary tumor councils
  • Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support available in both clinic and operating room
  • Each physician covers their own call
  • Work within a collegial, team-oriented cancer program designed to promote subspecialization and collaborative care
