You'll perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring the integrity of our property. The Starting Rate: $20.55 The Day-To-Day:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment across the property, completing assigned jobs and maintaining logbooks.
- Utilize power and hand tools effectively to carry out job assignments.
- Diagnose electrical and gas issues using tools such as amp meters, voltmeters, and pressure gauges.
- Read blueprints and wiring schematics to install and maintain electrical components.
- Maintain awareness of property layout, cleanliness, safety, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), while informing the Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions.
The Ideal Candidate:
- The candidate will have a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- They will possess at least 2 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry or a similar environment.
- The ideal candidate must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- They should be well-rounded in maintenance skills, with experience in plumbing, mechanical work, electrical systems, and carpentry being a plus.
- The candidate must be willing to work both indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures, including tasks that involve working on roofs, ladders, and lifts.
- They should feel comfortable around barn animals.
