As Export Specialist you will be part of our operational team and always the right contact for all matters regarding our exports of industrial goods from the U.S./North America.

Your Tasks
  • As a personal contact for our customers, you are responsible for the entire process of handling our export shipments from pickup until departure. You always choose the most effective means of transportation depending on each individual task.
  • You check the presented documents for completeness and accuracy and communicate required changes with the customer
  • Daily tracking and tracing, as well as updating status information, are important parts of your responsibilities.
  • You communicate events proactively to our customers regular daily communication and also information and updates about delays or departures. This includes also to provide documentation and sending out shipping notifications
  • The billing of shipments and win/loss analysis are part of your work.
  • You schedule and monitor pickup arrangements, pickup appointments, ERD/LFDs to make sure that our customers due dates are met and are in line with the booking.
  • You are responsible to verify and process AES filing when required.
  • For our customers and their supplier base you always lend a helping hand. You communicate permanently with our international branches and partners which are located worldwide.
Your Qualifications
  • You have a passion for logistics and love the exciting world of global trade.
  • Quality service and satisfied customers, whether internal or external, are important to you.
  • You have professional experience and know-how in handling export shipments (Air, LCL, FCL).
  • Knowledge of German or Spanish is helpful, but not a must.
