Our client is a well-established general contractor with a strong track record delivering publicly funded construction projects across South Florida. They are known for successfully executing complex K-12 and municipal work, maintaining long-term relationships with local agencies, and upholding high standards for quality, safety, and compliance.
Job DescriptionManage all phases of K-12, public, and municipal construction projects from preconstruction through completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls. Coordinate with owners, school districts, municipalities, architects, and engineers. Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement, and contract administration. Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Ensure strict compliance with public procurement requirements, safety standards, and quality control procedures. Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to all stakeholders. Monitor jobsite progress and proactively address risks, delays, or cost impacts.

The Successful Applicant5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on K-12, public, or municipal construction projects in South Florida. Strong understanding of public-sector processes, including procurement, compliance, and reporting requirements. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Primavera, or MS Project. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on time and within budget.
