Project Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Project Specialist to support the successful execution of projects by applying formal project management methodologies. This role involves ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and by effectively managing exceptions and escalations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and plans.
- Define project scope statements and work packages.
- Facilitate formal contract and change order communications.
- Create and manage resource plans and cost estimates.
- Maintain risk and issues logs to mitigate project risks.
- Prepare and present status and exception reports.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in project management and coordination.
- Strong background in engineering or electromechanical devices.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software and cost estimating software.
- Effective resource management and allocation skills.
- PMP certification is highly desired.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree

Job Type & Location:
This is a Contract position based out of Lowell, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
