About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Mississippi, starting Dec 2, 2025. Physicians who have completed an ACGME or AOA-approved residency program, including residents in year 2 or greater, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide acute care to patients presenting to the emergency department
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and initiate appropriate treatment plans
  • Stabilize and manage patients with life-threatening conditions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document all patient encounters and care provided
  • Adhere to established clinical protocols and standards of care

Additional Information

  • Must have successfully completed an ACGME or AOA-approved residency training program; residents in year 2 or greater are eligible
  • Board certification in Emergency Medical Services required
  • Mississippi medical license required prior to start
