Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Location: Meridian, ID

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our partner medical facility's Telemetry unit in Meridian, ID. This part-time, night shift position offers an excellent opportunity to provide specialized care to patients with cardiac conditions in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Provide Expert Telemetry Care in a Collaborative Medical Facility

As a Telemetry RN, you will deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, ensuring accurate monitoring, medication management, and patient education in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Telemetry unit, including those with arrhythmias, heart failure, and other cardiac conditions.
  • Monitoring and Assessment: Continuously monitor patients' cardiac rhythms, interpret ECGs, and promptly respond to any changes in their condition.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team, including physicians, other nurses, and technicians, to provide holistic and patient-centered care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and observations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN) from an accredited program.
  • Experience: One (1) or more years of RN experience, with telemetry experience preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Current RN licensure from the State of Practice (Idaho).
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification through the American Heart Association, client, or American Health & Safety Institute.
