Inventory Clerk

As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and operating within a dynamic warehouse environment. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts, moving products, and performing inventory counts, ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, including standup forklifts, for less than 30% of the day.
- Move products and pallets throughout the facility.
- Pick products using RF scanners.
- Perform inventory and cycle counts.
- View and manage pick sheets/order sheets.
- Verify picks with RF scanners.
- Prepare products for shipment.
- Move materials throughout the facility using various equipment.
Essential Skills:
- Experience with sit-down forklifts and willingness to learn cherry picker operations.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for picking and inventory control.
- Ability to load and unload products using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Competency in using technology such as iPads, smartphones, and Excel for computer data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience as a Warehouse Clerk or Picker is advantageous.

Work Environment:
The work environment is a bustling warehouse and office setting with over 100 employees. The warehouse is divided into six major departments, including ITAD, Lab, S/R, Inventory, Picking, and Special Projects. Typically, two shifts are run, with an additional third shift added during peak seasons. The role requires adaptability to work within various departments and shifts as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carol Stream, IL.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
