Salina Regional Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team on a full-time basis, working afternoons. Key Responsibilities:- Dispense and verify inpatient medication orders accurately, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust medication therapy plans.
- Provide expert counsel on medication dosing, administration, and side effect management, tailored to individual patient needs.
- Participate actively in hospital-wide initiatives focused on medication safety, protocol development, and quality improvement.
- Serve as a vital member of the pharmacy team, overseeing medication inventory management and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Mentor and precept pharmacy students and residents, fostering clinical excellence and professional development.
- Participate in emergency responses and assist in clinical decision-making during critical situations such as code blues, trauma, and stroke alerts.
- Ensure adherence to all hospital policies, pharmacy laws, and safety practices, maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Valid Pharmacist license in the state of Kansas.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medication management, hospital procedures, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting.
- Commitment to ongoing clinical education and professional development.
Salina Regional Health Center offers a competitive salary range of $112,500 to $153,000 annually, complemented by a relocation allowance of up to $5,000. The hospital provides an extensive benefits package, including:
