Join Our Endocrinology Team in Albany, NY
Explore an exciting opportunity with a leading medical practice in Albany, New York. We are looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinology Physician to join our established and thriving team. This practice is dedicated to providing innovative care and long-term management for patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders.
Job Responsibilities:- Primarily outpatient responsibilities.
- ON CALL: 1:10 call, with additional inpatient coverage only when the inpatient providers are off.
- Flexibility in scheduling.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to diabetes care, including Endocrinologists, Advanced Practitioners, and Certified Diabetes Educators.
- Provide diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care for diabetes and other endocrine/metabolic disorders.
- Utilize the latest diabetes care technologies, including insulin pump/sensor download and professional continuous glucose monitoring (CGM).
- Offer specialized services like complication screening, medication management, nutritional counseling, and diabetes education classes.
- Open to H-1B visa candidates; J-1 waivers not accepted.
- Preferred experience candidates are encouraged to apply, along with upcoming 2025 grads working towards Board Certification.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology (within 5 years of eligibility).
- New York State License (or willingness to obtain).
- Preferred previous employment experience as an Endocrinologist.
- Current NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a New York License.
