Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and resilient ICU Nurse to join our critical care team. In this role, you will provide life-saving care to patients facing severe, complex, or rapidly changing health conditions. As an ICU nurse, you’ll be responsible for continuous monitoring, advanced interventions, and close collaboration with physicians and specialists to stabilize and support critically ill patients.

Daily duties include managing ventilators, administering high-risk medications, interpreting lab and diagnostic data, and responding swiftly to medical emergencies. You'll work with cutting-edge technology and protocols while offering compassionate, individualized care to patients and their families in high-stress situations.

This position requires sharp clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and emotional strength. You’ll care for patients recovering from trauma, surgery, sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac events, and more. Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset are essential to succeed in the collaborative ICU environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Active RN license

- BLS certification

- Minimum of one (2) year of experience

Description: A facility in Auburn, NY is looking for an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN). Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Must have travel experience. Charge may be required. Must be willing to float to MS units when needed. 2 years of ICU experience required, experienced and charge capable preferred. AHA NIHSS certification and 6 continuing education hours (CEUs) on Stroke related topic are required prior to start. Facility has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts at no cost during the duration of the assignment. Requirements: At least two years recent experience in field, current BLS certification, and a current nursing license per the state of assignment.
