divh2SW Engineer/h2pSAIC is seeking a software engineer for the joint expeditionary command and control (jexc2) program based out of Panama city, fl. This position is on-site./ppThe qualified candidate will support the joint expeditionary command and control (jexc2) program, providing software and systems and engineering support in accordance with stakeholder tasking./ppJob duties:/pulliContribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications within the jexc2 program./liliDevelop and maintain automation scripts using ansible to streamline infrastructure and application deployments./liliAdminister windows and linux servers and virtual machines, ensuring optimal performance and security./liliTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software applications and infrastructure./liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, testers, system administrators) in an agile environment./liliCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation./liliImplement and maintain security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems./liliParticipate in code reviews and contribute to improving software development processes./liliDeploy and maintain containerized applications./li/ulpQualifications:/ppRequired experience and clearance:/pulliBachelors in computer science or related course of study and 5 years or more related experience./liliAdditional years experience accepted in lieu of a degree./lili2+ years of experience in software development or systems administration./liliStrong understanding of networking concepts and protocols./liliProficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., python, java, c++)./liliProven experience with automation tools, specifically ansible or rhel./liliFamiliarity with agile development methodologies./liliExperience with technical documentation./liliExperience with containerization technologies (docker, kubernetes)./liliCandidate must currently hold a security+ certification./liliCandidate must be a us citizen with an active secret clearance with the ability to obtain a top secret./li/ulpDesired experience:/pulliExperience with azure cloud services./liliExperience with scripting languages (e.g., bash, powershell)./liliDemonstrated experience with windows and linux operating systems./liliExperience with container technologies (e.g., docker, kubernetes)./liliExperience with scripting languages (e.g., python, powershell)./liliFamiliarity with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks./liliSw defined networking/sd-wan, bgp, juniper ssr./li/ul/div
