Senior Software Developer

Location: Northern VA (Onsite, 5 days/week)

Overview

HireCapital is partnered with the leadership team of a fast?growing technology company building software that powers secure identity and biometric platforms used in critical travel, border, and credentialing systems around the world. Theyre scaling quickly and need a senior .NET developer to lead new development efforts. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real?world systems that support identity verification, biometric authentication, and visa/passport processing infrastructure. This is an onsite, high?impact role for someone who wants to build products that matter.

Responsibilities
  • Develop Windows?based applications using C#/.NET (WinForms) and SQL Server.
  • Contribute to new development across identity validation, biometric systems, and credentialing platforms.
  • Work collaboratively in Agile sprints with clear requirements and strong peer support.
  • Occasionally contribute to mobile or API?related projects as needed.
Required Experience
  • 10+ years of hands?on development experience, ideally with C#/.NET.
  • Deep understanding of SQL Server and data?heavy application logic.
  • Solid experience with Windows Forms.
  • Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, onsite team culture.
  • Practical, low?ego, and focused on shipping clean, secure, maintainable code.
Nice?to?Have Experience
  • Background in biometrics, identity verification, border or travel infrastructure, or credentialing platforms (regardless of tech stack).
  • Mobile development experience using C#, .NET MAUI, Xamarin, or a cross?platform framework.
