Senior QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a long?term project focused on building a scalable, microservices?based architecture for a modern enterprise platform. Youll be responsible for designing and maintaining robust automated test frameworks, ensuring coverage across API, UI, and end?to?end flows. This is a hands?on role with strong influence on the projects quality strategy, tooling, and culture. Youll collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and DevOps engineers in a fast?paced, Agile environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks (API, UI, E2E) using Java
  • Implement testing strategies that align with shift?left principles
  • Collaborate with cross?functional teams to ensure test coverage and quality at every stage
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to integrate testing effectively
  • Support and mentor team members in test design and automation
  • Document automation architecture and test approaches in Confluence
  • Monitor test coverage, stability, and performance over time
Requirements
  • Proven experience in test automation using Java, JUnit/TestNG, REST?assured
  • Hands?on skills with Selenium/Selenide, Playwright, and UI test automation
  • Solid understanding of BDD tools like Cucumber or JBehave
  • Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI)
  • Experience testing in microservices architecture
  • Working knowledge of Docker and container?based environments
  • Fluent English and strong communication skills
  • Strong QA mindset with ability to collaborate closely with developers and analysts
Nice to have
  • Exposure to cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Kibana
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and DevOps practices
  • Experience with test design patterns and test data management
  • Passion for promoting a quality?first mindset within engineering teams
