Emergency Department Tech- Full Time Nights

The Emergency Department Technician performs receptionist, clerical duties, cardiac monitoring, and direct patient care in the Emergency Department. The emergency department technician assists in giving service to guests by coordinating the details necessary to keep the Emergency Department running smoothly and assists with the documentation of trends and rhythms of patients in the Emergency Department. They are responsible for providing service to guests and patients in all age categories as defined by each department's scope of service and with respect to cultural diversity. Performs designated tasks in the care of patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. The job includes the responsibility to uphold the mission, vision, quality statement, and the values as set forth by the organization.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education High school graduate preferred.

Minimum Work Experience Previous hospital experience with acceptable references preferred.

Required Skills PR maintain certification.
