Accounting Clerk

Muhlbauer, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Clerk located in the Newport News, VA area to support our Accounting Team. The Accounting Clerk will assist in Accounts Payable / Receivable, processing payroll, and with file maintenance.
Responsibilities- Process payroll to include performing payroll allocations for month end closing
- Accounts Receivable: receipt and posting of payments
- Accounts Payable: matching invoices, invoice entry, and vendor file maintenance
- Must be organized with storage and maintenance of all payroll / financial records
- Assist in other duties as assigned
- Intermediate level math skills with the ability to do quick addition
- Experience in Microsoft Professional Office
- SAP knowledge is preferred
- Organized work behavior with the ability to multitask and prioritize as needed
- Excellent record keeping skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to meet stringent deadlines, prioritize work, and operate in a fast-paced environment
