We are looking for a motivated and experienced Physician to provide exceptional obstetric care in Greeley, CO. This locum role offers the flexibility, competitive pay, and supportive environment you need to excel while contributing to a busy, community-focused hospital delivering over 1,360 babies annually. In this pivotal position, you will oversee labor and delivery care, manage unassigned walk-in deliveries, and collaborate with a committed multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will help ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care for mothers and newborns in a Level 3 NICU setting, with ongoing support from emergency medicine physicians, resident staff, and specialist networks. Required Skills: Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Obstetrics & Gynecology Valid and current medical license for Colorado Proven experience managing obstetric patients and labor & delivery Ability to handle high patient volume efficiently and with professionalism Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable managing emergency and high-risk obstetric cases Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience as a hospitalist OB provider Familiarity with Level 3 NICU protocols Experience with GYN procedures and coverage Knowledge of high-risk pregnancy management and MFM support Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an Accredited Medical School At least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications Other Requirements: Availability for shifts scheduled from 04:00 - 06:00 Willingness to work in a collaborative environment, integrating with other OB groups and back-up teams Participation in ongoing professional development and compliance with hospital policies Ability to travel to Greeley as needed and manage licensure requirements for Colorado This is an excellent opportunity to work in a vibrant community hospital while enjoying competitive hourly pay of $0.00 (please note, actual compensation details to be discussed).
