Job Opportunity: Endocrinology Physician in Albany, NY
Join an established and thriving endocrinology practice located in the heart of Albany, New York. This full-time opportunity is with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team that includes Endocrinologists, Advanced Practitioners, and Certified Diabetes Educators focused on improving the quality of life for individuals with diabetes and other endocrine disorders. Experience innovative treatment strategies while providing comprehensive care in a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Primarily manage outpatient responsibilities
- Participate in on-call rotation (1:10 call) with additional inpatient call coverage when needed
- Collaborate with a team to provide diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care for diabetes and other endocrine disorders
- Utilize latest diabetes care technology including insulin pump/sensor download and professional continuous glucose monitoring (CGM)
- Offer specialized services such as complication screenings, medication management, nutritional counseling, and diabetes education classes
- Contribute to innovative treatment strategies that enable patients to manage their conditions effectively
- Open to experienced candidates as well as new graduates working towards Board Certification
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility and working toward BC) or Board Certified in Endocrinology
- New York State medical license (or willing to obtain)
- Previous employment experience as an Endocrinologist is preferred
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) is required
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology
- New York State medical license is required
