Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: State licensed preferred Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS required Must-Have: - Experience in Cath Lab required - Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) and Electrophysiology (EP) preferred - 5-7 on-call shifts required per month - Must float to cover IR and EP as needed Description: Cath Lab Tech position available for 3x12 day shifts. The required shift time is 06:30 to 19:00. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab is necessary. First-time travelers are accepted with positive references. Cath Lab experience is mandatory. Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology experience are preferred. ARRT R or CCI RCIS certification is required. ACLS and BLS certifications are necessary. A state license is preferred. Five to seven on-call shifts are required per month. Floating to cover IR and EP departments may be needed as necessary. Healthcare professionals should possess accurate monitoring skills and have experience with various procedures. Key skills include angioplasty, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, catheter placement, and stent placement, among others. The patient population primarily consists of adults and geriatrics. Daily census ranges from 15 to 20 patients. The unit is equipped with 4 rooms. Collaborative support includes teams from various disciplines. Documentation systems used in the unit include MacLab and CardioLab. Special equipment experience is preferred. Candidates must provide 2 supervisor references.
