Description

SITECH Inventory Specialist will perform an array of warehouse functions that include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. The role also includes delivering and/or picking up parts from customers and vendors, operating forklifts and vehicles, and pulling orders for customers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain excellent personal safety record
  • Support the efforts of SITECH Intermountain to provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling and consolidating materials, packing boxed items, and placing order in staging areas.
  • Complete shipments (UPS, internal & freight) by processing and loading orders.
  • Arrange LTL & hotshot for 911 orders.
  • Maintain inventory control by processing new, old, and current inventory counts.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts.
  • Good housekeeping (keep bay doors clear, take garbage daily, sweep floors etc.).
  • Create assembly orders for internal stock components.
  • Pre?deliver (PDI) new gear for sales/rentals.
  • Assist with locating items in the warehouse.
  • Verify parts discrepancies.
  • Assist all departments with their needs.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Maintain and promote a clean and safe work environment.
  • Keep accurate inventory, assisting with counts monthly/quarterly/yearly.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting 3545 lbs. regularly, sorting, and moving goods efficiently and safely.
  • Accuracy in handling inventory, checking orders, and ensuring that shipments are correctly processed.
  • General computer use for data entry, order shipping/tracking, email, Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changes in the workflow or technology.
  • Understanding the importance of customer satisfaction and accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Competency in performing basic calculations for inventory counts and order processing.
  • Promote a teamwork attitude working closely with all departments throughout the company.
  • Willing to work the hours necessary to complete the job.
  • Open minded to new ideas.
  • Self?starter that needs little supervision, team player, detail oriented.
