Construction Manager

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Clients site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client
- Availability to work 100% of the time at the Clients site in Juno Beach, FL (required)
- Construction Management experience
- Experience with analyzing and managing contractor safety plans and site-specific orientations
- Experience with reviewing and managing technical project documentation, including permits, road use agreements, crossing agreements, SWPPP, and drawings
- Experience with safety assessments and documentation using Unifier
- Experience with tracking project progress and approving CSU project tracking spreadsheets
- Experience with managing 3rd party resources, including environmental teams, safety teams, and land agents
- Experience with independent data collection and high-accuracy reporting for executive-level review
- Experience with managing commercial contract disputes through accurate documentation and change order tracking
- Experience with coordinating outages and crossings in conjunction with contractors
- Experience with developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with contractors to ensure schedule and quality compliance
- Experience with utilizing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across civil, structural, and electrical disciplines to solve technical problems
- Experience with material management and expediting delivery schedules
- Experience with P-6 contractor schedules
- Act as the primary field-level lead responsible for project success and coordination between the site and Project Management
- Conduct independent data collection and ensure all reports and trackers are 100% accurate and submitted by weekly deadlines
- Manage contractor safety performance by enforcing safety plans and conducting regular safety assessments in Unifier
- Review and interpret complex project documents, including engineering drawings, permits, and quality specifications to ensure compliance
- Monitor environmental constraints and SWPPP compliance, serving as the sole point of contact between the environmental team and contractors
- Track project progress and Approve the CSU to ensure the tracking spreadsheet remains accurate for management review
- Competitively manage additional resources, including land agents and expeditors, to resolve issues regarding land agreements and material deliveries
