As a Security Officer - Hotel Front Desk in Laguna Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing outstanding customer service while monitoring access and handling security-related matters at the front desk. You will help to deter incidents through your presence and communication, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first in a dynamic hospitality environment.

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to guests and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access control at the main entrance, verifying identification and/or credentials as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communication with hotel staff and first responders.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site requirements.
Support the overall security-related operations of the location by providing information and assistance to guests, visitors, and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
