divh2Senior Logistics Expert/h2pServe as a senior logistics expert, providing expert guidance and oversight on logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, and supply chain management, to support the PD Aerostats program./ppDevelop and maintain comprehensive logistics plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure that logistics operations are conducted efficiently and effectively./ppCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, testing, and operations, to ensure that logistics requirements are met and that logistics operations are aligned with program objectives./ppConduct logistics analyses and studies to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for optimizing logistics operations./ppDevelop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers, to ensure that logistics operations are conducted smoothly and efficiently./ppProvide expert guidance and support to logistics team members, including training and mentoring on logistics best practices and procedures, to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively./ppStay current with changes to logistics regulations, policies, and procedures, including updates to Army and DoD policies and procedures, to ensure that logistics operations are compliant and aligned with current requirements./ppDevelop and maintain logistics documentation, including logistics plans, reports, and metrics, to support logistics management and oversight./ppIdentify and mitigate logistics risks, including developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies and plans to ensure that logistics operations are conducted safely and efficiently./ppDevelop and deliver briefings, reports, and other presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders on logistics operations, including providing expert testimony and advice on logistics matters./ppServe as a subject matter expert on logistics matters, providing guidance and support to other teams and stakeholders as needed./ppDevelop and implement logistics process improvements, including identifying opportunities for cost savings, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction./ppCollaborate with other senior logisticians to develop and implement logistics strategies and plans that support program objectives and goals./ppResponsibilities:/pulliTen (10) or more years of working experience in the Life Cycle Logistics field and familiarity with Defense Acquisition./liliBA/BS or higher./liliAn additional 8 years experience in a related field may be substituted for education./liliA Masters degree or higher may be substituted for 4 years of experience as long as their degree is in a related field./li/ulpWork Location Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD/ppGroup ID: 90769394/p/div
