About the Position: Millennial Software is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team in supporting a Government customer. The successful candidate will have the ability to work both independently with little supervision as well as engage with a team to achieve overall project objectives. Requirements Technical Tasks/Requirements: Write high-quality code. Work with experienced engineers in an engaging work environment. Contribute, learn and feel valued as you support a mission essential operational system. Dedication to mission and product success. Provide support to test, integration, and deployment of the software baseline.

Minimum Skills Required: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain Polygraph. Bachelor's degree or equivalent (computer science, information technology, or related field). 7 or more years of experience in software development. Experience with Java, Swing, Spring. Experience with REST. Experience with Linux operating system. Experience with database systems such as MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB, etc. Experience with Git/GitLab source code management tools. Experience with software development and configuration management best practices. Experience with build automation tools such as Gradle.

Preferred Skills: Security+ certification. Experience with Angular or another modern web framework. Experience with Jenkins. Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps processes. Experience developing asynchronous services using message brokers like RabbitMQ.
