Responsibilities Position is in a hospital radiology department working primarily with general X-ray imaging Night shifts consist of three 10-hour shifts, Friday through Sunday (22:00-08:30 and 19:30-06:00 as scheduled) Holiday coverage and local call support are required Patient population includes ER, Level 1 Trauma, and NICU/neonates, with pediatric exams and trauma reductions Procedures include general X-ray exams, reductions, portable X-rays, and pediatric imaging Equipment includes Shimadzu Rad-Speed, Shimadzu Mobile Art MX8, AGFA DXD 100, and Orthoscan mini-C-arm Responsibilities include all general ED X-ray procedures, trauma reductions, pediatric and portable X-rays Scrub color is navy Testing includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with a required passing score Holiday coverage is mandatory and call is required if living locally Permanent staff may not return to the assignment facility for 1 year from previous end date PBDS assessment is waived for this assignment RTO must be discussed during the interview Assignments at the facility are limited to 18 consecutive months, with a 6-month break required before a new assignment Requirements Active ARRT certification required Active Ohio State License is required and must be a permanent license in hand at time of consideration; compact licenses accepted for specific start dates (license required if applicable) Current AHA BLS certification is required Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in X-ray specialty is required prior to consideration for travel Experience with ER, Level 1 Trauma, and NICU/neonate populations is mandatory Two recent supervisory references in X-ray specialty are required, including one from the past 12 months and one from the most recent travel assignment if applicable All candidates must be nicotine free and able to pass a negative 10-panel and cotinine drug screen within the past 12 months Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-641065.
