Your Opportunity, Your TeamThe Maintenance Technician II supports QVC, and performs basic tasks and repairs within the fulfillment center including work on conveyors, PIT equipment, and general building maintenance. This requires a basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Also, we ask that you have familiarity with AC/DC systems and the ability to use a voltmeter.
Where You'll WorkThis role is onsite and will require you to work from our QVC Florence Fulfillment Center daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
What You'll Do- Perform and facilitate general facility repairs such as electrical, lighting, HVAC, and conveyor systems.
- Perform planned and unplanned repairs, and preventative maintenance to production-related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment. Identify and correct safety hazards and potential maintenance issues before they become critical.
- Conveyor, Automation, and Sorter Systems Support and perform planned and unplanned repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of conveyors and sorter equipment. Help with conveyor, automation and sortation system repairs.
- System Installation, Design, Construction and Repair Assist team leaders and contractors to perform installations of new or replacement equipment.
- Record Keeping Input and maintain records using CMMS systems to ensure accuracy of time, parts, and repair data. Read technical manuals and document changes.
- Read and comprehend technical manuals. Familiarity with blueprints, and engineering specifications
- High School graduate or equivalent; Industrial mechanic trade school courses or certification (i.e., electrical, controls, plumbing, welding) or equivalent military technical training.
- Occasionally be on call or work overtime.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Prefer working knowledge of voltage meter and AC/DC.
- Can repeatedly lift 50 pounds.
