Overview

Position Overview

The Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The Seasonal Sales Associate will also handle a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team (e.g., housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc.).

Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Greet customers upon entry, create a positive first impression, maintain store standards and cleanliness, provide current product information, and offer quality service in fitting rooms and at the cash wrap. Follow up with customers and assist with add-on sales where appropriate.
  • Cooperation & Dependability: Complete duties as assigned, be punctual, work well with peers and management, follow company policies and procedures, perform housekeeping as required.
  • Personal Performance: Meet or exceed Sales per Hour (SPH) as assigned by management.
  • Miscellaneous Responsibilities: Attend store meetings and related functions, maintain a positive attitude toward merchandise and the company, participate in inventories, assume other duties as assigned, and meet physical requirements (heavy lifting up to 30 pounds and standing up to eight hours).
  • Job Requirements: Excellent customer service and communication skills; retail experience preferred; ability to work in a team; flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; physical stamina including standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and balancing.
