Call Center Representative

Become part of our team at Charter Oak Health Center, a leading ambulatory health clinic in East Hartford, CT. We seek an energetic, bilingual professional to provide exemplary customer service, triage calls, schedule appointments, and maintain patient confidentiality.
Salary$18.50/hr $19.25/hr
Responsibilities- Triage incoming phone calls and forward to the appropriate department.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, updating the electronic scheduling system.
- Maintain patient and business confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
- Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and web?based scheduling tools.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with proper telephone etiquette.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and basic computer skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to a fast?paced environment.
- Knowledge of telephone systems and scheduling software.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 12 years of experience in a medical/healthcare environment, physician office, ambulatory clinic, or healthcare call center.
