SummaryCertified Pharmacy Technician to join the Atrius Oncology team at our Kenmore site in Boston, Massachusetts. Full?time open schedule with availability during Mon?Fri 8?8 p, Sat/Sun 10?5, and rotating holidays. ResponsibilitiesPerforms a variety of medication preparation tasks, as well as other duties in support of oncology pharmacy operations.
Education / Licenses / Certifications- High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit.
- Graduate of an approved pharmacy technician program or institutional/retail pharmacy experience.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Massachusetts with an active pharmacy technician license without restrictions from the MA Board of Pharmacy.
- Active National Pharmacy Training Certification without restrictions.
- One to two years experience as an IV pharmacy technician is preferred.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice and patient confidentiality.
- Knowledge of medication abbreviation and symbols, common dosage calculations, and storage requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of pharmacy operations related to sterile intravenous preparations is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
