Project Manager/estimator

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager/Estimator to lead our estimating and project management efforts for minor site development projects. This role will involve overseeing excavation packages, site utilities, grading, and concrete flatwork while collaborating with leadership to refine organizational processes. You will manage project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships, provide mentorship to junior team members, and contribute to strategic planning and business development in our new vertical.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate and manage projects related to site development.
• Oversee excavation, site utilities, grading, and concrete flatwork.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance organizational processes.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Contribute to strategic planning and business development in new verticals.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating and/or project management.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and organizational workflows.
• Experience with site development, utilities, grading, and flatwork.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid).
• Ability to assist with business development or client relationship management.
• Background in value engineering or cost-saving strategies.
• OSHA certification or other relevant safety training.
• Experience managing subcontractors and vendor negotiations.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
