Business Data Analyst (ID Cards)

The Analyst, ID Cards is responsible for the execution of daily EyeMed Welcome Kit (ID Card) set-up, testing and production processes, and supporting process and system enhancements.

Major duties and responsibilities include:

1. Responsible for the daily execution of end-to-end ID Card production activities (i.e. File monitoring/release, Special Handling, Proofs, Reflags, etc.); escalate identified issues with Supervisor, ID Card Production.

2. Oversees the ID Card shared mailbox organization, inquiries, responses, etc.

3. Analyze, research, root cause and resolve ID Card issues to determine root cause and communicate findings with Supervisor

4. Supports data tracking and reporting of production activities with attention to accuracy and data integrity

5. Support activities for testing and deploying new or changing inventory (i.e. shells, card code set-up, inserts, etc.) upon completion of Marketing design phase.

6. Identify process and system improvement opportunities and articulate concepts to leadership.

7. Support/consult with cross-functional partners to promote self-serve tools, and knowledge of ID Card processes.

8. Support activities to implement new system technology solutions to further automate daily processing activities performed by the ID Card Team or broader organizational initiatives.

9. Maintain open, throughout, and timely communication with Supervisor, ID Card Production regarding any special requests, enhancements, and/or projects to gain alignment prior to commitment to support.

10. Ensure compliance with all policies, standards of administration, service level agreements, procedures, protocols, compliance, and security guidelines.

Basic qualifications include:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar, or equivalent work experience

2. 3+ years of business experience

3. Strong communication skills, both written and oral

4. Ability to analyze and interpret data

5. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities

6. Proficient in Excel

Preferred qualifications include:

1. Knowledge of vision benefits and/or insurance industry. Understands third party administration and ability to analyze and interpret plan benefit design

2. Experience in working in Business Objects, Facets, In-Design or similar platforms

3. Detailed working knowledge of computer operations and systems

4. Knowledge and understanding of the Membership and ID card systems/processes and standards of administration.

5. Ability to perform data queries/analysis
