The Plant Operations Department on the Manhattan campus is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team The Maintenance Mechanic position is vital for maintaining the functionality of our facilities and equipment. Key responsibilities typically include:
- Performing inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and systems.
- Replacing a retired maintenance mechanic requires a new hire with a specific skillset and qualifications.

Qualifications:
- Current NYC Fire Department Certificates of Fitness
- HS/GED required
- Two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Mechanical, plumbing, electrical and strong troubleshooting skills are required.
