Marketing Consultant

We are seeking a flexible, on?demand Digital Marketing Consultant to support four unique legal and innovation brands through a strategic and executional flat monthly fee. This role requires a seasoned digital marketing professional who can partner closely with the executive team to develop cross?brand strategy, manage campaigns, analyze competitors, create copy and various creative assets, and deliver meaningful results.
Compensation: Flat monthly fee (all?inclusive). Reasonable scope with on?demand availability. Rate to be negotiated based on experience, style and capacity.
Duties:
- Develop strategic narratives and creative assets for each brand.
- Collaborate with Chief of Staff to plan and align messaging and brand voice across the brands.
- Ensure cross?brand narrative consistency while maintaining distinct brand identities.
- Analyze competitors social media content to identify trends, tone, and positioning opportunities to differentiate other key brands.
- Support editorial and campaign planning.
- Marketing & Content Calendar: Coordinate scheduling with events, press opportunities, and brand milestones; maintain a planned cadence of 8 posts per week total for each of the four brands across LinkedIn; oversee publication cadence for Substack and Medium.
- Social Media Content & Management: Develop custom social posts tailored to each brand; post content for all four brands on LinkedIn; create and post content for Substack and Medium; create visual assets for social content; repurpose long?form content (e.g., blogs, newsletters, podcasts) into short?form posts and visual assets optimized for each platform; coordinate content cross?promotion across the brand ecosystem.
- Marketing Creative Services: Create marketing assets such as brochures, PowerPoint decks, one?pagers, and branded collateral; create templates for these materials and original design and layouts for various creative assets from postcards to promotional items and signage; provide graphic design support for marketing campaigns, presentations, events, and branded content.
- Performance Tracking & KPI Reporting: Provide biweekly KPI reports on social and web performance; include metrics on engagement, reach, and audience growth.
- Weekly Sync Meetings: Conduct weekly touchpoints with Chief of Staff and executive leadership to review KPIs, optimize live campaigns, and align on upcoming initiatives.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in an agency setting.
- Experience working with brands in tech, legal, and venture capital preferred.
- Portfolio available at a link showing recent work such as social media content, branded content, marketing material and website development.
- Style and judgment regarding quality of the marketing and materials/content created must be top?notch and represent best practices.
- Knowledge of how to use tools such as Notion, Canva, Adobe and more.
- Ability and desire to work in a fast?paced environment that feels and operates very much like a startup.
- Ability to turn around work quickly and well, understanding what needs to be done without requiring extensive back?and?forth cycles.
