Patient Population: Pediatric
Setting: Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department ( 55,000 annual visits)
Responsibilities: Provide emergency care to pediatric patients; collaborate with subspecialty teams (PICU, CVICU, NICU, hospitalists); participate in resident and fellow teaching; supervise trainees; utilize scribe support; deliver high-quality, evidence-based care
Required Procedures: Pediatric emergency procedures (not specifically listed, but full PEM scope of practice)
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Child life specialists, pediatric social workers, full subspecialty support, residents, fellows
Days Per Month: Full-time, varied shifts
On-Call/Weekends: Likely included per schedule
Submission Requirements:
Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine REQUIRED
Fellowship trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine REQUIRED
Nevada Medical License or eligibility REQUIRED
Relocation willingness (if not local) REQUIRED
Clean malpractice and license history HIGHLY PREFERRED
