Production Technician

Hiring 1st and 2nd Shift Production Technicians 6am-2:30pm OR 2PM-10:30PM 1st shift-$19/hr 2nd shift $19.60/hr Opportunity for a LONG-TERM, stable career with growth We are a global leader in coatings, linings, and fireproofing products, committed to delivering high-quality solutions for industrial and commercial applications. Our Dayton, NV facility plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate distribution of products to our customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Manufacture batches of product in Basket Mill and HSD.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vessel, gates, blade, blade underside, shaft, manufacture lids and storage lids.
  • Utilize various scales as required.
  • Properly transact raw material from inventory utilizing scanners.
  • Relocate material tanks/containers to place of origin.
  • Write off drum heals as required.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts as required.
  • Properly record times, temperatures, and QCT's of batches as required.
  • Comply with all company safety policies.
  • Maintains a clean work environment.
  • Follows all departmental policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
  • 1+ year of machine operation preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature environments.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with inventory systems a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, NV.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
