Position

Our Engineering Team is seeking a hybrid Senior Software Engineer, Applications. You will be responsible for creating intuitive graphical user interfaces and networking applications for TrellisWare's wireless communication products, using today's modern software technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement PC desktop-based application user interfaces.
• Enhance and maintain a suite of wireless networking configuration and situational awareness tools.
• Develop intuitive visualization techniques for large data sets.
• Document and present design alternatives using good personal practices and corporate defined engineering processes.
• Optimize user data requests across multiple sources from a single client.
• Design variability and efficient functional segmentation to serve different market visualization and user needs.
• Develop relationships with team members built on trust and respect.
  

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum of seven years industry experience developing user interface applications.
• Experience implementing contemporary user interface solutions.

• Proficiency in C#, XAML, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), .NET, and Visual Studio.

• Ability to think from a user's perspective.
• Understanding of REST API usage and IP networking (desired).

Physical Demands

• Frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands to fingers, handle or feel, reach within hand and arm's length, stoop, kneel, and crouch, talk and hear.
• Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; frequently use office equipment such as PC, printer, telephone, etc.
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
