Position PurposeAt Johnson Memorial Hospital, the Registered Nurses (RN) in the Behavioral Health Unit provide compassionate care as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team. This collaborative approach ensures comprehensive behavioral health services tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

What You Will Do- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status, identify behavioral health needs, and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for side effects, and provide education on medication management specific to psychiatric conditions.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, implement crisis intervention strategies, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school
- Valid RN License in Connecticut
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- The ideal candidate will have one or more years of Behavioral Health experience in an inpatient care setting.
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Part Time-24 Hour Days
- Every other Weekend/Holiday
