Responsible for day-to-day warehouse activity and requirements within the warehouse. Daily Shipping and Receiving responsibilities such as forklift, bar code scanning and housekeeping. Effective ongoing verbal and written communication with management and co-workers. Works closely with the Quality and Customer Service departments for suspect material product/shipments. Complies with Health & Safety regulations, not to endanger themselves and others with careless driving. Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager. Good communication and motivation skills. Good personal safety, attendance, and job performance record. Both high amounts of quality and quantity of work. Knowledge of plant procedures and equipment use. Extent, to which team member identifies and corrects errors, initiates work activities, assumes responsibility, completes work assignments, meets schedules follows established policies/procedures and anticipates needs. Builds trust by respecting the ideas and contributions of everyone. 1-year yard dog trailer driving. 3 years Mfg./Warehouse experience in a plastics process facility Must be dependable, must have good attendance record. Must be willing to work overtime when needed. Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. Demonstrated ability to perform task such as loading and unloading materials or merchandise. Requires the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Must be willing/able to drive yard dog/spotter truck.
