As a Security Professional - Patrol Driver Tech Site in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a leading technology location. You will monitor assigned areas, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of the environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Document all incidents and activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
