Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team This position is located in St. Louis, MO or Denver, CO.

Responsibilities
  • Lead technology projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the specified requirements
  • Manage the full project lifecycle for 5-6 concurrent, complex projects
  • Work with a "10-foot view" perspective, diving deep into technical details to understand system architecture, API functionality, and cloud-based implementations
  • Serve as the technical go-to person, understanding system concepts and capabilities better than high-level stakeholders
  • Engage with development teams to identify unrealistic timelines or technical blockages and align genuine project velocity
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and communicate project status to stakeholders
  • Lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, testers, and business analysts
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and changes to project scope
  • Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders and senior management
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Project
