Maintenance Technician 30.25/HR

Aerotek is hiring qualified maintenance professionals for a major e-commerce distribution center that has been voted one of the top employers by Forbes over the last 3 years with over 1,200 facilities in the U.S. This company provides formal training on high speed, automation, robotic equipment and a lot of potential for upward mobility.

Shifts: Candidates must be open to all shifts.

Pay: $30.25 hourly

The Tech III will be responsible for the following:

• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical
• Trains employees as needed.
• Provide feedback on tasks in the Preventive Maintenance programs
• Complete assigned PMs and provide feedback on any improvements that might be needed.
• Ability to install and maintain-- photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders
• Mentor technicians by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals
• Work with teams to complete any additional projects as assigned.
• Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company.

Additional Skills & Qualifications: Tech 3s MUST HAVE 2+ years of experience performing maintenance (mechanical & electrical) on equipment and 1+ year of experience leading and managing a team within the last 2 years of employment.

Education: Preferred candidates would have an associate degree from a technical school, apprenticeship, certifications, military training, hands on training related to maintenance field

Job Type & Location: This is a contract position based out of Sterling, VA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $26.75 - $26.75/hr.

Workplace Type: This is a fully onsite position in Sterling, VA.
