Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

We re seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner for a full-time role performing one-time, non-treatment disability assessments for U.S. Veterans applying for VA benefits. Position Highlights: * Location: Eagan, MN * Days Per Week: 5 days * Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM * Patient Load: 3 5 Veterans per day * Compensation: $62.50 per hour * Start Date: Immediately after credentialing and required VA training (4-6 WEEKS) What You ll Do: * Conduct in-person medical evaluations focused solely on disability claims * Review and analyze medical documentation relevant to each Veteran s case * Complete and submit reports electronically within 24 hours of the exam * Work within a supportive team to help streamline the VA benefits process Qualifications: * Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (any U.S. state) * No treatment, diagnosing, or prescribing required * Previous experience in assessments or evaluations is a plus but not mandatory Perks & Benefits: * Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K * Generous Paid Time Off * Life and Disability Insurance * Health Savings & Flexible Spending Accounts * Employee Assistance & Referral Programs * Predictable Monday Friday schedule no nights or weekends This is a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Veterans while enjoying a consistent schedule and balanced workload.
