And if youre relocating to join us, you could be eligible for relocation assistance./liliOur Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources./li/ulpA caregiver in this role works days from 7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m./ppA caregiver who excels in this role will:/pulliProvide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting./liliAssess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans./liliAdminister medication and treatments./liliInitiate CPR and other emergency measures./liliNotify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings./liliAssist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment./liliDevelop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families./liliCover other nursing roles within the department./liliMay require travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures in various locations./li/ulpMinimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:/pulliGraduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)/liliCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)/liliBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross/liliAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification within six months of hire/liliOne year of recent experience as an RN OR LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting OR a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area/liliExperience with IV access and infusions/li/ulpPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:/pulliBachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)/li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliRequires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination./liliRequires corrected hearing and vision to normal range./liliMay requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids./liliLight Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects./liliEven though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible./li/ulpPersonal Protective Equipment:/pulliFollows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures./li/ulpPay Range/ppMinimum hourly: $31.50/ppMaximum hourly: $49.90/ppThe pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
