Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Wound Care Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Batavia, OH Service Setting: Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Dec 22, 2025 - Mar 31, 2026 Coverage Type: Clinical Only Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-4:30p Patient Volume: 15-30 Types of Wounds: - Acute & Surgical Wounds - Traumatic Wounds - Deep Puncture Wounds - Surgical Non-Healing Wounds - Ulcers, Chronic Venous Insufficiency, Pilonidal Cysts - Gangrene, Radiation injury, Burns Duties: - Treating Skin Reactions, Preventing Skin Breakdown, Treating and Managing Vascular Ulcers, Pressure Ulcers and Diabetic Ulcers - Initiating Preventative Measures, Providing Comprehensive Wound Management, Providing and Applying Topical Therapies - Educating the Patient and the Patient's Support on Care Techniques, Assessing and Treating Draining Wounds and Fistulae - Implementing Preventative Actions to Reduce the Incidences of Pressure Ulcers and Vascular Ulcers, Providing Instruction on Proper Wound Dressing - Educating the Patient and Patient's Support on Ulcer Prevention and Treatment, Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment supervision Treatments: - Bioengineered Skin, Debridement, HBOT - I&D, Negative Pressure-Assisted Wound Closure - Post-surgical incision management, Skin grafting, Unna Boot, Total contact casting EMR: Epic Hospital Privileges required: Yes Temporary Privileges available: Yes Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: Active OH License BC/BE BLS, ACLS
