Shift/Time Zone: Mon thru Friday 6:00am- 3:00pm (with rotational Saturday's)

Summary

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in for health routine or life?defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples, prepares specimens for lab testing, and follows established practices and procedures. The PSR I creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence, explains procedures, and draws blood in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner while demonstrating leadership behaviors, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.

Under the direction of the area supervisor, performs daily activities accurately and on time. Maintains a safe and professional environment, performs forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, maintains required records and documentation, and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Job Requirements
  • Ability to provide quality, error?free work in a fast?paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on?site supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric.
  • Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on?call, and overtime.
Required Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 6 months experience REQUIRED; one year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience a must. Position is offered by a no?fee agency.
