A Data Entry Technician, you must have both foundational or basic technical skills with speed and accuracy. Youll be expected to have proficiency with computers, databases, and software, and attention to details to efficiently input information into electronic systems.
Daily tasks include:- Responsible for answering and returning customer messages, internal and outside agencies phone calls by the next business day.
- Provides first line response to eligibility customer complaints by reviewing, investigating and closing cases in COM within 5 business days.
- Supports customers with accessibility information needs by providing first line information and assistance on service access card, policy, and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Entry Level, One (1) year of customer service experience.
Standard hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one (1) hour unpaid lunch break. However, the COTR may request temporary services for periods in excess of a seven and one half (7.5) hour day or a thirty-seven and one-half hour (37.5) hour week. Temporary personnel working six (6) hours or more are required to take a one-half hour unpaid lunch break. Overtime: Hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in one week is considered as overtime work, all overtime must be approved by the COTR in advance.
