Customer Service Representative

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our growing team The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for our customers, serving as the liaison between customers and our technicians. This position is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle concerns, preparing accurate repair estimates, and coordinating repair and maintenance services with technicians. The Customer Service Representative ensures exceptional customer satisfaction, clear communication, and efficient service operations. In addition, this position will involve handling inquiries, processing orders for parts, and ensuring a positive experience with every interaction. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms.
- Provide accurate information about customer complaints to service technicians.
- Communicate service recommendations and costs clearly to customers.
- Obtain proper customer authorization for all repairs and services.
- Handle the ordering of automotive parts for repairs.
- Coordinate and schedule repairs with technicians to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain contact with customers throughout the repair process, providing status updates.
- Review completed work orders with customers and explain charges and repairs performed.
- Handle customer complaints courteously and professionally.
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and service transactions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in customer service software.
- Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent use of computer and telephone.
- Occasionally lift 25 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Primarily an indoor office setting.
- May require occasional exposure to shop environment with noise, fumes, and moving vehicles.
