We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide clinical and administrative support in a busy healthcare setting. The CMA will assist physicians during exams and procedures, manage patient flow, perform vital sign assessments, and ensure accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This role is essential to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
  • Assist physicians during exams and minor medical procedures.
  • Prepare and administer medications or injections as directed by a physician.
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens such as blood, urine, and swabs.
  • Update and maintain patient medical records accurately in the EMR system.
  • Schedule patient appointments and perform front?desk administrative tasks as needed.
  • Educate patients on medications, treatments, and follow?up care instructions.
  • Ensure exam rooms and medical equipment are clean, stocked, and properly sanitized.
Required Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from an accredited program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast?paced clinical environment.
Certifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required and current.
